WBS: news ticker:Calvani predicted winner in DLPA leadership election

October 15th, 2002

Calvani declared Amerada’s 4th Prime Minister

Unless miracle happens, this one’s in the books!

WASHIAWA- Floerta Governier, Tristan Calvani has been declared, by the WBS to win the DLPA Leadership election, which officially wraps up on Wednesday.  And what a story it has been. Tristan has been a citizen for just two months, and has already found himself in one of the most powerful positions in Amerada. His lead, which as of Tuesday night had an unsurpassable 63% of the vote, leads all other candidates including Deputy Prime Minister Mattlore Devious (21%) and North Cerritories Governier Chris Donle (14%).  How Mr. Calvani has done this, is the amazing thing. He is the only candidate that has just one micronational citizenship, which has wooed over voters; as well he clearly has the best manifesto of all the candidates. He has worked hard to campaign, and his efforts are paying off at the polls.  Not to mention his support from the President, which is always worth a lot at the polls.  Calvani has already made the decision to appoint opponent Chris Donle as Deputy Prime Minister, which has come as a shock to many.  Mr. Calvani tells us, he is confident with Mr. Donle, that if you reward people, they will in turn reward you.

 Notes from the last month:

On October 5th, Tristan Calvani was elected into the Amerada legislature, insuring a seat if he becomes Prime Minister. He has been named Labour Minister, Amerada's first in 11 months.

An Amerada census has been sent out, it must be filled out by October 22nd. So far, there are only a few people left to fill it out. People who fail to fill it, will be assumed inactive, and will be fired in due time.

This shows Tom has escaped the Curse of Wirraram, which had so far stopped all other Bishops being active in New Macadam, or even stopped some of the turning up!
